Provide nursing care to assigned patients by demonstrating knowledge of the nursing process and application of assessment, implementation and evaluation.
Provide professional care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Arkansas. Current certification in CPR. Able to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and hospital personnel.
Must be able to work weekends and shift work under stressful conditions. Must maintain competency skills by completion of skills checklist within 90 days of employment and yearly.
Requires utilization of electronic video units and calculators to perform work task.
Potential exists for exposure to communicable disease, infections, body fluids and hazardous materials. Must be able to provide direct nursing care.
Must be able to lift, support, and transport patients. Requires full range of motion
(able to carry and lift items over 25 pounds.) Manual and finger dexterity and eye/ hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Requires corrective vision and corrective hearing to normal ranges.
Full-time, 12 hour shifts with weekend rotation.
Requires current AR licensure
