Functions as a member of the medical imaging team providing diagnostic imaging according to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
ARRT certified and State Licensed.
High school grad or equivalent.
Some previous hospital experience desired.
Must be able to work alone with little or no assistance. May be required to work any of the three shifts, holidays, and call.
Verbal ability to communicate effectively and follow through on those instructions.
Must be mobile with the ability to perform heavy lifting and sliding.
Must be able to navigate heavy radiography portable and C-Arm units.
Complies with all regulatory agencies’ standards in daily work activities (JCAHO, OSHA, SHD, NRC, HIPAA, no violations. Complies with all hospital P&P (handbook). ARRT/SHD/PPD/CPR on time and in binder… Attends all mandatory department meetings and annual competency testing unit specific orientation and age and unit specific competencies.
Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, good hygiene and the ability to work effectively with customers of all ages.
