RN Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

We are looking for RNs to work in one of our newly reconstructed Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

The Registered Nurse (RN) exhibits and executes North Metro Medical Centers Values & Behaviors in delivering and coordinating patient care. Utilizing the NMMC nursing professional practice model, the RN is a licensed professional who is responsible for using clinical reasoning, developing, implementing and evaluating the nursing plan of care, managing both emotional and physical patients, assessing patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education, working collaboratively with medical staff and providing quality care in a compassionate and professional manner.

Our Intensive Outpatient RN help treat patients for a wide range of disorders and provide care for serious psychiatric symptoms, intensive outpatient treatment and/or treatment for mental health disorders. Our Intensive Outpatient RN routinely assess the patient’s physiologic and/or psychosocial health status, formulate the plan of care with the medical staff, establish priorities necessary to achieve expected outcomes, and collaborate with other care team members in planning and carrying out treatment regimens. Our Intensive Outpatient RN will not administer medications but will participate in patient and family medication education.

Ideal Intensive Outpatient RN candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle a chaotic situation in a calm and rational manner.

  • Shift/Schedule – Full Time / 8 hour shifts (9a-5p)/ Mon-Friday
  • Benefits
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • RN license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • 1 Year of acute care RN experience
