North Metro Medical Center's 4-bed Progressive Care Unit provides intermediate level nursing care for patients 12 years of age and older with cardiac, non-cardiac and/or surgical conditions requiring any of the following srvices: continuous cardiac monitoring, continuous pulse-oximetry monitoring, frequent nursing interventions/monitoring, post surgery/procedure monitoring and/or have a potential for instability. The unit consists of all private rooms. The Progressive Care Unit works in partnership with multiple other departments to provide for a complete continuum of care.
