Though you may not always see them during your visit to the hospital, rest assured that the North Metro's pharmacy team is diligently at work to ensure that your visit is a safe one. One of the ways you can help in this process is to always be aware of what medications you are taking. This may mean simply carrying a list of your medications in your wallet, or bringing your prescriptions with you to the hospital. Remember to include herbals and over-the-counter medications. The fact that these medications are available without a prescription doesn’t necessarily guarantee their safety; especially when taken with other medications.
