Whether it’s time off from work, sports, or just daily activity that you’re missing, our physical, occupational, and speech therapists want to help you achieve your goals as quickly and safely as possible. A thorough evaluation will be followed by a treatment plan tailored to fit your specific needs and goals. Patient education and involvement are the top priorities throughout your course of care.
We now have two convenient locations:
-North Metro Outpatient Physical Therapy located at Jacksonville Medical Clinic, contact Chip Glenn at 501-985-7390.
-Cabot Physical Rehabilitation located in the Cabot Medical Park, contact Joe Farrer at 501-605-8980.
Occupational Therapy: Occupational Therapy is not just returning people to work; it focuses on skills for the job of living. This includes retraining people in self-care skills (dressing, eating, bathing, etc.), improving upper body function, and conducting home safety assessments.
Physical Therapy: Physical Therapy is much more than exercises and teaching people how to walk. It includes pain relief, improving balance, fall prevention, wound care, and sports rehabilitation.
Speech Therapy: Did you know that you use a lot of the same muscles to talk that you use to swallow? Speech Therapy includes teaching people ways to communicate, but it also focuses on swallowing. A Speech Therapist is able to perform a Modified Barium Swallow Study with Radiology to determine your swallowing abilities and determine the safest techniques for you to continue eating.
Our Physical Therapy team has proudly provided injury care for our local football teams ON and OFF the field for 17 years.
